What are Smart Links?
Smart Links help users share any form in their Data Management with Freight Forwarders, Carriers or with anyone who is not using the Logward platform.
To configure the access and feature visibility permissions, users can seek support from the Logward team, who helps with the first step - External Role creation. This is how the process looks like:
1. The Logward team creates and sets up External Roles for your account
and assigns visibility permissions.
2. Once the Smart Link for External Roles is created, you can click on the "Share" icon on your screen and choose any external role you want to share with.
You can only view the access permissions set for the selected external user and you can generate and share a Smart Link by copy-pasting it in the chats or sending it via an email.
Note: When sharing via email, you can use an email template if available.
3. External users (freight forwarders/carriers) receive the Smart Link, fill the data in the form, and click on "SAVE" to submit their information.

4. The responses from external users are saved on Logward, so you will find the updated information within the platform. You may use this data for internal purposes.
